This image gallery has been established in order to show on a single page the diversity of models & body shapes that have been placed upon the pre-war Minor chassis, not just by the Morris & M.G. factories but also by the many British and Australian coachbuilders who purchased the rolling chassis directly from the manufacturer. Also included are a 'Home built' & 'Competition Specials' sections to show the numerous succesful and otherwise attempts to 'modify' some cars.
The images are loosely displayed by age (except for the British Coachbuilt Specials section), with the oldest appearing on the left and the youngest on the right. Not all of the different models produced are shown here. i.e. Where a body shape was only slightly updated for the following season only one example is displayed in the gallery. Where a major change occurred, as with the Morris factory cars for the 1934 season, further examples are displayed.
Many of the images here can be seen elsewhere but where possible different examples or contemporary photos are displayed to assist restorers and researchers. Those of you who have your own collections of Minor photos depicting models not shown here and would like them to be included are invited to forward them to the Pre-War Minor Network. This will help ensure that the image library remains as comprehensive as possible.
